COLIN KNOX - ROB’S FATHER
Since Rob's death in 2008, Colin has been involved in setting up a number of initiatives to fight against the growing problem of knife crime in the UK and continues to campaign for a mandatory 6 months sentence for anyone who is found carrying a knife.
Colin is also the co-founder of the Rob Knox Foundation & Rob Knox London Film Festival which helps young people showcase their film making talents.
SALLY HOLDER - ROB’S MOTHER
Sally has worked tirelessly to raise funding for The Rob Knox Foundation's & the annual Rob Knox London Film Festival.
Thanks to Sally's hard work and perseverance, the foundation has partnered with The Daily Mirror, Sainsbury's Supermarket and Charlton Athletic Football Club to set up initiatives that will make a lasting difference in the war against knife crime in the UK.
AARON TRUSS - ROB’S FRIEND & FILMMAKER
Aaron Truss is our third trustee, a film director and close friend of Rob Knox.
Truss is the director of (K)nox: The Rob Knox Story which can be seen on ITVX (in the UK) as well as Sky Crime (Germany), BBC Select (USA) and more. He works with Colin and Sally to help promote the issue of knife crime in the UK as well the documentary, in order to help cement Rob’s legacy.
Truss is also the Co-Director of the Rob Knox London Film Festival (alongside Alice Amata), taking over from Michael Wearing in 2023.
