THE ROB KNOX ‘LONDON’ FILM FESTIVAL GETS NEW DIRECTORS AND NEW VISION
We're excited to announce that the Festival is back with the newly retitled ROB KNOX LONDON FILM FESTIVAL!
We would like to thank our previous director, Michael Wearing who ran the festival for 13 years at the Cineworld Bexleyheath, who has decided to retire from the role and we wish him the very best. During his time, many young film makers and actors were able to find their place on the stage, TV and film. Along with the Rob Knox Foundation, Michael successfully kept Rob's name and memory alive through the years and has left some big shoes to fill...
We now welcome our new Co-Directors of the festival, Aaron Truss (award winning Director and Producer) and Alice Amata (Cross cultural specialist). Alongside the directors, we also welcome our new producer, the award winning Stuart Morriss of The Misty Moon Film Society. Our new team is dedicated to keeping Rob's legacy alive by promoting new and exciting talent, as well as raising awareness for knife and gun crime in the UK
More news will be coming in the new year regarding our team, the selected industry judges, our special award presenters, our new London venue and our new patrons!
Submissions are NOW OPEN for the brand new festival and we look forward to seeing your entries!
