THE ROB KNOX FILM FESTIVAL - MAY 2012

The Rob Knox Film Festival - 29th May - 6th June 2012

The Rob Knox Film Festival gives film makers a chance to show their work to the world. Successful applicants films will be screened at Cineworld in Bexleyheath on 6 June 2012 and at number of other locations throughout the London Borough of Bexley.

Along with film previews there will be a range of free or low cost film related workshops and question and answer sessions with industry experts.

The festival reflects the aims of the Rob Knox Foundation to support the education of young people in school in the area of citizenship, respect and street violence awareness and to support young people in the area of drama.

It is free to enter and open to all (Application is now closed) Films of all lengths and genres will be considered by the judging panel.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

  • Best Film

  • Best Director

  • Best Screenplay

  • Best Actor

  • Best Actress

  • Best 99% film (The film that does the most to raise the profile of a young person.)

  • Best Community Film (A film about a social issue that has an educational use in the wider community.)

  • Best film under five minutes long
